Marina's Jam in Haiku

We had such fun here

At Christmas and after that

With you and Lilah

Then I found the fruit

In the refrigerator

Very fresh and cold

It was washed with care

Put it in a great big pot

And cooked until soft

Then added sugar

And made it extremely hot

Then the jars were filled

All the germs were gone

All the jars and lids were boiled

For a long, long time

So enjoy your fruit

On bread with peanut butter

Or on your ice cream!
